5 Little Candy Canes Virtual Story Time, December 7 at 10:30 AM EST.

A 20 minute Virtual Fingerplay Faith Based Story class with Miss Amy and Zoo Kids Reading. For your 4- to 6-year-old so they can practice: rhyming words, story retelling, and counting in a fun and interactive way.

 (Note: all class are appropriate for everyone, however, the faith based classes specifically focus on biblical teachings.)

This is a seasonal themed story, not specific holiday related (ie. Christmas). The class also includes a candy cane printout for your student to make their own five little candy canes!

The class is limited to 6 students, to allow time for everyone to participate. There will be time to complete one* of the five candy canes in class during the craft time. The second part of class will be for the students to practice retelling the story using their candy cane puppets. All students will be encouraged to participate in the retelling. The students will also practice counting the candy canes and identifying the rhyming words.

If time allows, we will do another retelling with the students each being assigned to a specific candy cane.

*If your child wishes to have all five candy canes done to retell the story during the second half of class, I suggest you print the handout off early enough to allow time for your child to complete the other four prior to class.
