Five Little Pumpkins

A 20-minute Virtual Fingerplay Story class with Miss Amy and Zoo Kids Reading. For your 4- to 6-year-old so they can practice: rhyming words, story retelling, and counting in a fun and interactive way.

Faith-based class also offered with biblically integrated content. (Note: all class are appropriate for everyone, however, the faith based classes specifically focus on biblical teachings.)

This is a fall themed story, not specific holiday related (ie. Halloween). The class also includes a pumpkin puppet printout for your student to make their own five little pumpkins!

The class is limited to 6 students, to allow time for everyone to participate. There will be time to complete one* of the five pumpkins in class during the craft time. The second part of class will be for the students to practice retelling the story using their pumpkin puppets. All students will be encouraged to participate in the retelling. The students will also practice counting the pumpkins and identifying the rhyming words.

If time allows, we will do another retelling with the students each being assigned to a specific pumpkin.

*If your child wishes to have all five pumpkins done to retell the story during the second half of class, I suggest you print the handout off early enough to allow time for your child to complete the other four prior to class.
